We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader with experience in collections, credit risk, or financial services who can leverage data, technology, and customer insights to drive portfolio performance. You'll bring a strong understanding of collections strategies within a regulated environment, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to influence stakeholders while leading innovative solutions that enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency. 

What You'll Do 

  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve recoveries and customer outcomes. 
  • Use analytics and business insights to optimize collections strategies across the customer lifecycle. 
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, forecasts, and business cases to support operational and executive decision-making. 
  • Lead initiatives that modernize collections through automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and process optimization. 
  • Partner with Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver strategic initiatives. 
  • Evaluate and implement innovative collections tools, technologies, and digital solutions. 
  • Support governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices across collections operations. 
  • Manage relationships with third-party collections partners and support vendor performance and strategy. 

What You'll Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in collections, credit risk, portfolio management, financial services, or customer operations, including leadership experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of collections strategies, consumer lending products, and regulatory requirements within a regulated environment. 
  • Proven ability to use analytics and data-driven insights to improve business performance and customer outcomes. 
  • Experience leading transformation, process improvement, automation, or digital initiatives. 
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. 
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI, or Tableau. 
  • Experience in banking, financial services, telecommunications, or managing third-party collections agencies is considered an asset.
