About The Role:

OurCounter Salespeople are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:ย ย ย 

  • Provide outstanding customer experiences.
  • Operating a cash register and navigating computer and paper catalog systems.
  • Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
  • Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
  • Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members answer questions for customers.
  • Use computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.
  • Maintain current promotional material andin-store displays.
  • Understand and comply with all Company policies.
  • Protect self,co-workers, and customers by maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of the front counter, salesfloor,and back areas.

About You:ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in aretail environment, prior automotive background or knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.ย ย 
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must enjoy working with people in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
