About This Role:

This is a part-time position designed for college students and entry-level professionals who are passionate in education and have the drive to grow into a future leader in education industry. The successful candidate will work alongside our Silicon Valley teaching team while also focusing on the operational aspects of our business.

You will have the resources to become a great math educator and provide world-class teaching services to PreK-6th graders of all levels. In order to foster a well-rounded leader in the education industry, this role will also give you the chance to participate in Think Academy's business functions including operations and marketing. This role is ideal for those wanting to become branch directors, department managers, and even a part of Think Academy's global expansion in emerging markets.

We welcome applicants from all different backgrounds as no prior teaching-related experience is required. With the right mindset, this position will strengthen your teaching abilities and leadership competency and be a stepping stone to your goals in the education industry.


Teaching Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging elementary mathematics lessons (Grades K–3) in English using the Think Academy curriculum.
  • Deliver high-quality in-person instruction that creates an engaging, inclusive, and positive classroom environment while fostering students' confidence and interest in mathematics.
  • Identify individual learning needs and provide personalized academic support to help students achieve their learning goals.
  • Grade homework, assessments, and other student assignments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proactive communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences and meetings as needed to discuss student performance and learning plans.
  • Hold office hours and provide one-on-one academic support when appropriate.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and collaborative learning environment for all students.
  • Assess students' academic performance and develop individualized learning plans, recommending appropriate short-term or long-term courses based on each student's abilities and educational goals.
Business Operations Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in educational consulting by understanding student needs and recommending suitable learning pathways for prospective and current families.
  • Support daily business operations, including student enrollment, customer service, marketing initiatives, and community engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns, recruitment events, and educational seminars that promote Think Academy's programs.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and community partners to support business growth throughout the Bay Area.
  • Analyze customer feedback and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in special projects and operational initiatives to enhance the overall student and parent experience.
  • Contribute to the growth and expansion of Think Academy by supporting strategic business development and operational excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Open to all majors- we provide training and professional growth!
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of math concepts and problem-solving techniques.
    • Prior math teaching or general teaching experience is not required, but it is highly preferred.
  • Passionate about teaching and education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology for instructional purposes.
  • Responsible, reliable, and a team player to effectively collaborate with other teachers and staff.
  • Patient, empathetic, and motivated to inspire students.
  • Available and willing to work during weekday later afternoon and weekends
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States
  • You must be able to commute to teach in-person at one of our San Jose Cupertino Campuses

Compensation & Benefits:

  • starting at 70k- 80k + teaching commission -- Opportunity to earn up to $90,000 yearly
