Job Title: Senior PLM Functional Consultant
Job Location: Shelton, CT

Job Duration: 3 Months, Contract to Hire
 
Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior PLM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in PTC Windchill to lead and deliver end-to-end PLM transformation programs.
  • This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and clients to assess, design, and implement PLM solutions that align with business goals, particularly in manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, and high-tech industries
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead functional design and implementation of Windchill PLM solutions (PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, etc.).
  • Conduct business process assessments, fit-gap analysis, and define to-be architecture and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Drive solution design workshops and document key design decisions.
  • Support integration of Windchill with ERP, MES, and CAD systems.
  • Provide guidance on PLM best practices and industry standards.
  • Lead offshore/onshore delivery teams and ensure timely project execution.
  • Support pre-sales activities including proposal development and client presentations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8–12 years of experience in PLM consulting with a strong focus on PTC Windchill.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale PLM implementations and upgrades.
  • Deep understanding of PLM processes: BOM, Change Management, Document Management, Manufacturing Process Management, and Quality.
  • Hands-on experience in Windchill configuration, customization, and deployment.
  • Experience with Windchill-ERP integrations and CAD data management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • PLM Process Consulting, Windchill and Thingworx
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with ThingWorx Navigate and IoT applications.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub) and automation frameworks.
  • ITIL process knowledge and industrial automation experience.
    • Experience with Kepware and Windchill REST/SOAP services.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
