Job description
Careers that change lives start here. Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology with a Mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Our 95,000 employees work across more than 150 countries to put patients first — developing innovative medical technologies that improve the lives of 72+ million patients each year. Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.
We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
As one of three comprehensive portfolios at Medtronic, Neuroscience is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with neurological disorders, spine conditions, and chronic pain. Guided by our Mission—to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life—we develop technologies and therapies that help people regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most.
Medtronic Pelvic Health provides therapies that treat patients suffering from overactive bladder, non-obstructive urinary retention and fecal incontinence with our sacral neuromodulation (SNM) systems InterStim X™ and InterStim™ Micro; and our percutaneous tibial neuromodulation (PTNM) system NURO™. More than 400 million people worldwide have incontinence, and many of them limit their lives socially, professionally and personally because of their condition. Our goal is to expand access to our therapies, and introduce new therapies, so we can potentially help millions of people get their lives back. As a Pelvic Health Therapy Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in the successful introduction and adoption of new OAB (overactive bladder) therapies. You will provide in-depth technical support and guidance to help HCP teams build confidence, capability and belief in our innovative new therapies. The ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to partner with HCPs to offer new therapies and motivated to expand access for patients. You will possess a strong background in medical device technology, possess product and procedure expertise, therapy development experience, a strong track record of agility and adaptability to learn, and the ability to manage and collaborate with complex stakeholders and build effective working relationships. This role will require 50+% travel within the assigned district and potentially outside of the district as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Therapy Implementation
- Market Development
- Customer Relationship Management
- Case Coverage
- Clinical expertise
- Continuous Improvement
We are committed to building a workforce that brings together a broad range of perspectives and experiences at every level.
