Productive Mind Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote role, set within a detox center, focuses on providing essential mental health services to individuals in crisis, promoting recovery, and facilitating personal growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate patients' mental health needs, collaboratively developing tailored treatment plans in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver individual counseling sessions focused on immediate emotional support and crisis intervention for patients facing diverse mental health challenges such as addiction, trauma, and withdrawal symptoms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders. You will engage with a diverse population that includes patients from various backgrounds and life experiences. The focus will be on addressing their immediate psychological needs, promoting coping skills, and facilitating their transition to sustained wellness.

Qualifications
  • Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or hold a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required, while a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred for a deeper theoretical foundation.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the mental health challenges specific to detoxification and substance use treatment.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
