Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New York State.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and a spectrum of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • The ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and formulate effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
