Theme Park Maintenance Technician
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Theme Park Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of rides and attractions, perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual inspections, testing, verification and/or calibration of applicable control systems.
As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure the safety and reliability of attractions, giving guests peace of mind and enhancing their enjoyment. Your behind-the-scenes work also supports associates by minimizing ride downtime and creating a smoother, more positive work environment.
Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all rides are inspected daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the ride manufacturer's preventative maintenance programs.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, and county and municipal regulations that pertain to rides safety, inspections, and yearly inspections with all authorities.
  • Ensure all plumbing and mechanical services are in good working order.

What We're Looking For
  • 1 year of progressive experience in a theme park, or related field.
  • Knowledge of ride maintenance schedules, repairs, rides, games, and daily operations for an adventure park.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
