Job Summary:
Range is building AI-powered wealth management that actually works. They are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to own and evolve the Range iOS experience, shaping how members interact with their financial life on mobile and driving technical direction for the iOS codebase.
Responsibilities:
• Own and evolve the Range iOS experience.
• Shape how members interact with their financial life on mobile.
• Work closely with product, design, and other engineers to define what mobile-first wealth management looks like.
• Challenge and improve specs for iOS development.
• Drive technical direction for the iOS codebase and shape conventions for other engineers.
• Partner directly with product and design to influence what gets built.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of mobile development experience, with meaningful time spent building and shipping consumer-facing apps
• Expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
• Experience architecting modular, testable iOS applications
• Track record of mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar on a team
• Excellent communication skills. You can articulate technical tradeoffs to engineers and non-engineers alike
Preferred:
• 0 to 1 mobile product experience
• Excellent product instincts. You think about users first, not the cleverest technical solution
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems without being told exactly what to do
• Security engineering experience
• Fintech experience
• Startup experience
