This full-time role is crucial for delivering top-notch rehabilitation services directly to patients in their homes, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

About the Organization

At ProActive Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on being a comprehensive rehabilitation service provider. Our mission is to assist patients in their recovery journey by offering a wide array of specialized services that cater to diverse needs. Whether it's Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Sports Rehabilitation, or Post-Surgical Rehabilitation, we are dedicated to providing tailored care that helps our patients thrive.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a home care setting, participating in a unique environment where you can closely observe the living conditions and lifestyle of your patients. Working onsite allows for individualized treatment plans that consider the patient's home environment. Our clinic operates within a supportive team environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at promoting physical well-being and pain relief.
  • Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, creating personalized home exercise programs to support their recovery.
  • Administer complementary therapies such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, tracking metrics such as range of motion and strength gains to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Prepare treatment areas and manage equipment, ensuring a clean and organized environment conducive to effective therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Provide essential emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Maintain ethical practice standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for each individual's rights and preferences.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population varies widely, ranging from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to elderly patients needing mobility support after surgery. As a Physical Therapist with ProActive, you will cater to an eclectic mix of clientele, which allows for a rich professional experience where you can apply diverse therapeutic techniques across various age groups and conditions.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is a must.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with patients and their families.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple patients and treatment plans simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or home care setting is preferred, showcasing your capability to provide hands-on patient care.
  • Experience with a diverse patient demographic will be advantageous as we serve various populations with unique rehabilitation needs.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding salary, ProActive Physical Therapy provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional development support to enhance your career.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage for peace of mind.
  • Employee wellness programs, including discounts on gym memberships.
