Job description

36 hrs/wk; Evenings/nights. The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) performs a wide range of clinical laboratory testing on patient specimens to provide accurate and timely results for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The MLS ensures quality control, adheres to regulatory standards, and contributes to the effective operation of the laboratory. Associate in Laboratory Science and certification in Laboratory field, MLT(ASCP) or equivalent. Bachelors in Laboratory Science and certification in Laboratory field, MT(ASCP) or MT(AMT). Bachelors in Health-Related field (biology, chemistry) with certification in Laboratory field, MT(ASCP) or MT(AMT). ASCP or AMT eligible accepted with review by Laboratory Director and Pathologist.
