Job Description: Repair Technician

Entity: The Lab – Warsaw
Reports To: Repair Manager

SUMMARY

The Repair Technician is responsible for performing device repairs, managing parts inventory, and maintaining accurate repair documentation. This role requires ongoing technological skill development, timely repair processing, and consistent communication with the Repair Manager regarding workflow and inventory needs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDaily Operations
  • Complete daily check-ins, advisory updates, guidance requests, and any needed training.
  • Assist with managing the repair queue, including opening and closing tasks.
Repair Duties
  • Perform daily repair activities on phones, tablets, computers, and other devices as assigned.
  • Check in and check out repair jobs, ensuring accurate invoicing and documentation.
  • Maintain and update repair documentation as needed for accuracy and efficiency.
Customer & Technical Support
  • Conduct data recovery, data transfers, account recoveries, and provide advisory/console support.
  • Sell used devices to customers when applicable.
Inventory & Workflow
  • Monitor parts inventory, place orders when needed, and track usage.
  • Work efficiently to maintain timely repair completion and communicate status updates to the Repair Manager.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
