Job description

Job Title: Traveling Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic CCC-SLP to join our dynamic team in a Travel Therapy position. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience and will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services across various locations, primarily covering North St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and Jefferson County, MO. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse populations, enhance clinical skills, and contribute to the improvement of communication outcomes in a variety of settings.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify and diagnose communication disorders in diverse populations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients based on assessment findings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual and group sessions, in accordance with professional standards and evidence-based practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to provide education on speech and language goals and strategies for home-based support.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and attend meetings as required to contribute to holistic care planning.
  • Stay informed about current developments and best practices in speech-language pathology through continuous professional development.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).\
  • Missouri state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in a variety of settings.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills for effective management of travel assignments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different settings and locations.
