Job description

Who we are:
CDI custom curb adapters is the nation's fastest curb manufacturer in the HVAC industry. We are a nation-wide company with manufacturing facilities located in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Dallas, Seattle, Charlotte, and Phoenix. Today CDI leads the curb adapter industry with the fastest lead times and the most curbs manufactured annually. Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is the cutting, bending, fabricating, and folding of sheet metal to create components used to assemble the finished product. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the production area.
Requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Safe operation of laser, press brake/turret machine and various other tools used to complete project
Create quality and accurate cuts/bends/folds according to blueprints.
Follow and enforce all CDI safety rules and regulations. Ensure equipment is properly set-up & used in a safe manner & that all safety devices are in use.
Operate forklift, if required and certified.
Performs inspections on product before, during, and after the build following CDI's standards.
Monitor functionality of equipment and tools and request maintenance when required.
Perform basic and preventative maintenance and repair as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1-year experience operating laser, press brake/turret or other metal fabrication tools.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Outstanding attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong time management skills.
Ability to safely use various measuring tools & various other hand, power, & pneumatic tools.
Knowledge or willingness to cross-train in other production departments.
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.
Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language.
Ability to stand or walk for extended amounts of time.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, grip, squat and lift.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently & lift 70 pounds occasionally.
