Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or manual methods.
  • Is responsible for stocking and storing deliveries correctly using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including emptying trash.
  • Ensure that all dishes and utensils are cleaned to the highest standards and are free of grease and food residues.
  • Assist with the organization and storage of clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow proper sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food prep, stocking supplies, and cleaning kitchen surfaces.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and support the overall team.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
