Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience or training in cooking and meal preparation.
- Ability to provide compassionate and respectful support to individuals with diverse needs.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a home care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience working in health care or social assistance environments.
- Training or certification in supported living or personal care assistance.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special nutrition requirements.
- Ability to drive and hold a valid driverโs license.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of clients.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, medication reminders, and mobility support as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support.
