The Supported Living Companion plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities while promoting their independence and dignity. The companion will assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and social engagement, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience or training in cooking and meal preparation.
• Ability to provide compassionate and respectful support to individuals with diverse needs.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a home care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Experience working in health care or social assistance environments.
• Training or certification in supported living or personal care assistance.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special nutrition requirements.
• Ability to drive and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of clients.
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, medication reminders, and mobility support as needed.
• Engage clients in meaningful social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support.
