Beverly's Basics Program Manager
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Programming, this position is an in-person role based at Beverly's PGH headquarters in North Huntingdon, PA.
Standard office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Because Beverly's PGH programming frequently takes place directly in the community, this position requires a minimum of four extended programming days per month, typically between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., as well as occasional evening and weekend community and fundraising events.

Job Functions
The Beverly's Basics Program Manager serves as the operational lead for the Basics Division, overseeing community programs, high-volume referral initiatives, and special projects that strengthen children and families throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Beverly's Basics Division, including the Basics Boutique, Distribution Events, Milestone initiatives, Family Essentials, In-Care Kit referral programs, and future programming.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple projects simultaneously by managing timelines, logistics, inventory, volunteers, and operational priorities while ensuring programs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Oversee high-volume referral programs by managing intake, fulfillment, documentation, reporting, inventory, and contract compliance with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Serve as the lead staff member for Basics community events by coordinating volunteers, supporting community partners, and creating welcoming, high-quality experiences for children and families.
  • Maintain accurate administrative systems, program data, and reporting while building strong relationships with families, providers, volunteers, and community partners, and continuously improving workflows and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • Passion for serving children and families with compassion, professionalism, respect, and dignity.
  • Three or more years of experience in project/program management, nonprofit/business operations, human services, or community programming, with demonstrated success managing multiple projects, timelines, logistics, and competing priorities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills and the ability to anticipate needs, follow established systems, maintain accurate reporting, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Execution-minded with a strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and accountability; proactively solves problems, pivots when priorities change, and consistently delivers results from planning through completion.
  • Positive, compassionate, and relationship-focused with the ability to build trust and create welcoming, dignified experiences for children, families, volunteers, providers, and community partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams). Experience with databases, CRM systems, and project management software preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, actively participate in community programming, possess a valid driver's license, drive Beverly's PGH vehicles, and obtain all required PA State Police, FBI Fingerprinting, and Child Abuse clearances.

Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements
This is an active and physical role that includes lifting, sorting, restocking, loading, and unloading vehicles, bending, standing for extended periods, driving, and supporting indoor and outdoor community events in various weather conditions.
