Job description

Assembly / Teardown
In this role you will disassemble commercial HVAC units to reclaim aluminum, copper and other metals for recycling, and disposal of HVAC components, in compliance with industry regulations.
No experience needed but you must be able to:

  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen including THC
  • Able to work shift outside under a covered awning
  • Able to use hand tools
  • Able to disassemble and assemble HVAC units
  • Able to lift 50lbs


LOCATION: Reno, NV 89506
POSITION: Contract to Hire
HOURS: 6:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6:00am to 10:00am
PAYRATE: $19.00 hour
POSITIONS: (3 openings) 2 for Teardown and 1 for Assembly

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery.
  • Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process.
  • Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities.
  • Cross train and help in other areas depending on workload.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous manufacturing or construction experience.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact helpful.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil.
  • Able to use hand and power tools, including metal cutting saws.
  • Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.
  • Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
  • Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Able to handle and sort different materials.
