Job description

The Cake Decorator role is a key position. Cake decorators are responsible for making and decorating cakes to Baskin Robbin's standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing world-class customer service

· Maintaining Baskin Robbin's high standards for product freshness and sanitation
Icing, decorating, packaging, labeling, and pricing ice cream cakes for refrigerated cases

o Frosting and decorating the nine basic designs

o Knowing how to decorate the cakes that are available for order

o Keeping the Cakery fully stocked

o Ensuring that the cakery has at least one of each signature design

o Stocking the novelty case with a minimum of nine cakes at a time

· Creating unique ice cream cakes

· Timely filling of customer special orders

· Identify trends and take note of which designs sell the best

· Having a backstock of five cakes per size

· Preparing for upcoming holidays

· Adequately stocking for busier seasons

· Working all major holidays, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas day. Requiring the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving

· Stocking novelty items
