Description
This is a 6-12 month temporary position with the possibility of going permanent. Due to customer requirements, the current schedule includes working on-site 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm (including a 1 hour lunch), being available remotely as needed until 10pm on weeknights, and working every other weekend, potentially a full 8 hours or more on Saturdays.
The Customer Service Representative plays an essential role in our manufacturing operations, serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and orders. Attention to detail is critical as the person in this role will manage order intake, provide quotes, and coordinate distribution. Working closely as part of the supply chain the CSR ensures timely delivery completion and communicates updates to customers regularly. The ability to excel in a dynamic environment, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, will be essential for achieving customer service objectives and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities

  • Manage order intake, customer communication, and quoting, excluding quality-related issues.
  • Coordinate distribution and all shipping documentation through the shipping process.
  • Provide regular updates to customers, with increased frequency for high-volume orders.
  • Liaise with the outside departments as necessary for timely delivery completion, color development, etc.
  • Serve as the funnel for new SOPs and handle customer complaints, involving quality immediately for quality-related issues.
  • Process final approval of production orders and handle contract review and purchase orders.
  • Maintain documentation such as tracking customer interactions and verifying and retaining customer purchase orders.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience with CRM and/or MRP system preferred.
  • Textile process and manufacturing experience is a plus.
