Territory: New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana
Department: Sales (Industrial Laundry)
Reports to: Senior Director, Sales - Institutional Laundry

Position Summary
Calderon Textiles is seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Consultant for its South-Central Territory. This is an entry-level sales role focused on developing new business, managing accounts, and building relationships within the assigned region.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of sales experience, a strong work ethic, and a desire to build a career in sales. This position offers an opportunity for long-term growth within the organization through hands-on sales experience, mentorship, and professional development. Candidates based in Texas will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Development
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue goals and achieve sales targets as defined by the annual sales budget.
  • Utilize the CRM system to:
    • Manage Customer Accounts: Track progress, record activities, and follow up on leads.
    • Support Corporate Initiatives: Track, update, and manage company-driven initiatives within the CRM system.
    • Identify New Business: Pursue potential customers through cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
    • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Strategic Account Support
  • Support Corporate-Won Accounts:
    • Execute sales initiatives and account servicing for designated laundries within the territory.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent communication and problem resolution.
Business Development and Market Growth
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities by building a sales pipeline through cold calls, email campaigns, and networking events.
    • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Participate in trade shows and professional networking events to represent the company and generate leads.
Reporting and Sales Analysis
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales updates to management, including pipeline progress and sales performance reports.
    • Analyze Market Data: Identify new sales opportunities and customer needs using CRM data and feedback.
Travel and Budget Management
Plan and Manage Travel: Conduct regular customer visits and attend industry events within the assigned region, staying within budget guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience with a focus on customer service, account management, or business development.
  • Experience using a CRM system to manage leads, record activities, schedule appointments, and track corporate initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the textile industry or industrial laundry markets is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned region.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and connect with customers at all levels.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
    • Word: Create professional correspondence and sales presentations.
    • Excel: Generate and analyze sales reports and customer data.
