Job description

Description
THE PURPOSE: The Graphic Designer brings True Religion product to life through compelling visual storytelling across apparel and accessories. This role owns the full graphic development process - from seasonal concept and trend research through production-ready artwork - and partners with Design and Merchandising to ensure every graphic is brand-right, commercially relevant, and executed to spec. It is a role for someone with a strong creative point of view, technical depth, and the confidence to take a concept all the way to the factory floor.

THE ROLE (what you are accountable for):
  • Develop and execute original graphic concepts and seasonal artwork with full ownership from ideation through final production files
  • Present seasonal concept and trend direction to design leadership, contributing to cohesive graphic narratives across product categories
  • Research retail market and cultural trends, translating insights into commercially relevant, brand-appropriate graphics
  • Create repeat patterns, prints, and layouts for a range of apparel applications including embellishments such as rhinestones, studs, and beadwork
  • Build detailed technical CADs and print-ready artwork for all graphic applications
  • Assess prototypes and provide clear, accurate comments on all artwork strike-offs, communicating directly with cross-functional partners and vendors
  • Partner with Production teams on graphic execution, cost management, and timing
  • Maintain organized project and seasonal graphic libraries by season and concept
YOU ARE: A visually driven designer with a genuine graphic point of view and the technical range to execute it without hand-holding. You know apparel production - what works on a tee, what works in textile, what is realistic at cost - and you bring that knowledge into every concept you develop. You present your ideas with confidence, respond to feedback with openness, and stay current on what is happening in culture and on the retail floor.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  • 4-6 years of experience in apparel graphic design
  • Fluency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of graphic tee production and textile printing techniques, including screen print, all-over print, yardage, and DTG
  • Proven experience developing seasonal graphics from concept through production-ready artwork
  • High attention to detail in version control, product specs, and artwork placement documentation
  • Clear communicator with Design, Production, and overseas vendor partners
  • Ability to manage multiple product timelines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Experience with PLM systems or CAD software
  • Background in fashion, streetwear, or lifestyle brand environments
  • Strong typography skills and familiarity with apparel embellishment techniques
