SUMMARY


KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

· Create original artwork for customer specific product lines, including brands and private label

· Design specific customer related products for prints, woven and embellished product categories.

· Understanding of printing process, woven fabrics, product construction, sewing and embroidery techniques and terminology.

· Manage design process from inspiration to production ready spec kits/tech packs

· Produce technical specs, die lines, print and woven repeats, color separations for production ready files to send factories.

· Communicate with agents and factories overseas on design product execution.

· Participate in design and trend research, identifying new trends, techniques, color ideas and product concepts.

· Create trends, designs and planograms for customer presentations.

· Attend internal and customer meetings.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

· Highly skilled at cleaning files, repeats, color separation, production and spec art.

· Possess a keen creative eye for design and be able to research product trends for design and product development.

· Must understand how to create a pattern repeat, design a layout and have an excellent color sense.

· Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with strong attention to detail

· Must have creative skills in presentation execution, design aesthetic and able to set up production ready art files and die lines for factories.

· Must be highly proficient with Mac operating systems and Adobe Creative Suite software, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
