Job description

The Electrical/ Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshoot & repair equipment malfunctions
  • Perform preventative maintenance to the building and machines
  • Perform work related to PLC drivesand VFD (variable frequency drives)
  • Maintain spare part inventory
  • Ensureall safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics preferred
  • 2 years ofexperience in industrial maintenance (including welding) is preferred
  • Knowledge of 3-phase motor wiring, starters and electrical systems required
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, drives and control systems preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry and push/pull light and heavy materials
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stand, crawl, and walk
