Job Title: Materials Development
Location: Beaverton, OR (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with a leading organization on an exciting Materials Development opportunity supporting apparel materials work across seasonal sportswear and lifestyle products. This position plays a key technical role in taking concepts from brief to production-ready material solutions, working closely with cross-functional product creation teams to help bring ideas to life.
Responsibilities:
- Translate design briefs into technical material solutions for apparel development.
- Drive testing, validation, and system setup to support production readiness.
- Collaborate with product creation teams, including designers, technical development partners, and product managers.
- Support seasonal material development across base textiles, prints, and dye applications.
Required:
- 3+ years of materials development experience.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical materials knowledge, including yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques.
- Experience with PCX, Smartsheets, and Miro.
