Job description

Peak Periodontics & Implants is looking to add to our clinical team. We are a private periodontal practice located in North Reno.


Our goal is to support the smiles that support our patients by restoring their dental health, function, and confidence. We pride ourselves on being patient-centric in everything we do and focus on safety, predictability, comfort, and integrity.


Roles & Responsibilities

-Attend morning huddle and be prepared for each day

-Assist Doctor with surgeries in the morning and new patient exams in the afternoon

-Help maintain the sterilization flow-includes setting up and breaking down rooms, disinfecting instruments, loading sterilization units, etc

-Help periodontal charting with our hygienist and flipping the hygiene room when needed

-Helping to clean the office as needed-bathrooms, sinks, mirrors, vacuuming, etc

-Helping with ordering supplies and restocking rooms (if needed)

-Writing patient surgical and chart notes (we use AI note-taking software)

-Suture removal during patient post op visits

-Entering prescriptions and checking the NV PMP website

-Communicating with clinical team members and admin team members effectively and respectfully

-Maintaining effective and pleasant communication with patients during exams

-Create whiteboards and patient surgical tubs for the following day surgeries



Qualifications

-We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of dental experience. Surgical experience is preferred

-First aid & BLS

-Proficient with computers and efficient typing

-Okay with blood, extractions, and general dental surgery

-Friendly personality

-Ability to take constructive criticism and learn new things from current team members
