POSITION – Office Assistant / General Office

JOB LOCATION – Grafton

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Regular, Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday

STARTING PAY – $20-$22 per hour

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – At least 2 years of office or administrative experience

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Office Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting the team and providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, computer-savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate team members
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Enter and process customer orders accurately
  • Advise customers on delivery times and order information
  • Enter bills for payment
  • Complete data entry and general administrative tasks
  • Type at least 50 WPM with accuracy
  • Open and distribute incoming mail
  • Assist with marketing activities


  • Manage and update social media
  • Work closely with the team to keep daily office operations running smoothly
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
  • Strong keyboarding skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or data-entry experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
