Accounting Educational Editor

Come join our exciting, fast-paced Content Production team andassistwith writing, editing, and publishing the best review and study materials available. Our Content Production Department crafts the products that the rest of the departments support. Content Productionprovidesour customers with the most up-to-date self-study accounting study materials for CPA, CIA, CMA, EA, FMAA, IAP and CPE certifications.

The Accounting Education Editor drafts, develops, and edits online accounting courses and text content forour accounting certification products.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Draft,modify, develop, edit online self-studymaterialsand text content presented in books, online courses, accounting videos, for CPA, CIA, CMA, EA, and CPE products.
    • Assist Accounting Research Assistants with technical client questions.
    • Update existing continuing education courses (CPE) as well as generate new CPE content.
    • Research changes in accounting regulations and certification requirements.
    • Develop and generate study questionsappropriate forthe specific product audience.
    • Provide technicalassistancefor video presentations.
    • Ensure materialcomplies withAICPA, IMA, IIA, and IRS requirements.
    • Interact with various departments to create deliverable products.
    • Explain technical regulations and inlaymanterminology.
    • Various miscellaneous duties as requested.


Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
    • Master's degree and CPA or other accounting certifications a plus.
    • Excellent computer skills.
    • Detailoriented.
    • Good command of English, grammar, and punctuation.
    • Must be able to work on-site in Gainesville, Fl.
