Job description

We are seeking a highly creative and fast-moving Digital Shooter Editor to produce compelling, social-first video content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging digital channels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both field production and studio environments, understands internet culture and storytelling, and can independently take projects from concept through final edit.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional visual storyteller with strong shooting instincts, advanced editing skills, and experience creating content optimized for audience engagement and platform performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Shoot, produce, and edit short- and long-form social-first video content
  • Capture high-quality video using iPhone, DJI Osmo/gimbal systems, and DSLR/mirrorless cameras
  • Direct and shoot content in a variety of environments including:

                o Man-on-the-street interviews

                o Red carpet and live event coverage

                o Talent-driven social content

                o Studio interviews and hosted productions

  • Collaborate with producers, talent, and social teams to develop engaging concepts and visual approaches
  • Edit content optimized for platform-specific performance across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Create motion graphics, text treatments, and social-native visual elements
  • Maintain strong pacing, storytelling, and editorial judgment aligned with current social trends
  • Manage media workflows, file organization, exports, and delivery deadlines
  • Adapt quickly in fast-paced production environments and react to breaking or real-time opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience producing and editing digital/social video content
  • Demonstrated experience shooting with:

                 o iPhone/mobile-first production setups

                 o DJI Osmo or similar stabilization/gimbal systems

                 o DSLR or mirrorless camera systems

  • Strong field production experience, including red carpets, live events, and street-style interviews
  • Experience directing and lighting in studio environments
  • Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including:

                 o Premiere Pro

                 o After Effects

                 o Photoshop

                 o Lightroom

                 o Audition

  • Deep understanding of social media storytelling, pacing, hooks, and audience retention
  • Strong sense of framing, composition, audio, and lighting

The base salary compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $104,000. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
