• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via a secure video chat platform designed for therapeutic conversations.
• Facilitate discussions that allow clients to explore their emotions and life experiences, leading to greater self-awareness and insight.
• Develop a strong rapport with clients to effectively advocate for their needs and assist them in setting and achieving therapeutic goals.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions through clinical evaluation and utilize a solution-focused approach to create personalized treatment plans based on their unique situations.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation regarding client sessions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life Mend, you will work primarily with stable adult clients who have been carefully screened for suitability. They present with low acuity mental health concerns, allowing you to employ your skills effectively without the challenges of severe mental health crises. We prioritize matching counselors with clients whose needs align with their expertise, ensuring a supportive and effective therapeutic relationship.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology is mandatory.
• Active, unrestricted state license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.
• Experience in managing a diverse caseload of clients with a variety of concerns, showing adaptability to meet each individual’s needs.
• Proficiency in using technology for remote counseling, including comfort with digital platforms and telehealth applications.

While we welcome candidates from various backgrounds, experience in a remote counseling setting is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, an empathetic nature, and a track record of building effective client relationships are highly valued. The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, based on your level of commitment and clinical hours. Additional benefits include:
