Job description

Texell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the NATION by American Banker, is seeking a Full Time Teller to work 35 hours per week.


We're looking for someone who:

  • Is available to work our drive-thru and/or lobby hours during the week and every other Sat.
  • Can stand on their feet throughout the day and adhere to a professional business dress code with closed-toe dress shoes.
  • Has been with their employer(s) two or more years. Job loyalty is important to us.
  • Has previous customer service and cash handling experience. Banking experience is a plus.
  • Is comfortable with sales and referring products!
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 products such as Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Provides empathy and exceptional service. Every member interaction is a chance to provide a WOW experience.


As a Teller, you will:

  • Perform financial transactions with 100% accuracy. Duties include check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cash advances, and much more.
  • Follow all credit union security procedures and maintain member confidentiality.
  • Work with high level attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Educate our members on Texell's products and services. It is our responsibility to inform our members on all the great things Texell has to offer! In doing so, you could earn monthly incentives.
  • Perform additional functions according to credit needs during down time such as calling members and telling them about our current promotions, rates, and more!
