Familiarity with assessment tools, curriculum planning software, and the Texas Rising Star guidelines is essential. Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills help build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. These competencies ensure high-quality learning environments and compliance with state standards, which are crucial for children's growth and program accreditation.

What is Texas Rising Star?

Texas Rising Star (TRS) is a quality rating and improvement system for early childhood programs in Texas.
