We are looking for a senior-level Software Test Analyst to join our team. This position focuses on designing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test suites, managing performance testing, and ensuring application compliance.

Position Details

  • Location: Lansing, MI
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Non-Negotiable)
    • Onsite: Wednesdays and Thursdays
    • Remote: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays
    • Note: Candidates must be local to the Lansing area (within 90 miles) at the time of application.
  • Interview Process: 60-minute virtual interview via MS Teams (Video, laptop, and screen-sharing readiness required).

Core Responsibilities & Key Skills

1. Test Automation & Technical Skills (Required)

  • Frameworks: Hands-on automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
  • Coding: Strong, clean, object-oriented Java programming.
  • BDD: Writing clear Gherkin scenarios (Given/When/Then) and implementing Step Definitions in Java.
  • Databases: Writing SQL and PL-SQL queries (SELECTs, JOINs) for backend data validation against Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git (merging, pull requests).

2. Performance & Load Testing

  • Experience: 3 5+ years of senior-level performance testing.
  • Tools: Tooling expertise in JMeter or LoadRunner (scripting, executing scenarios, and identifying system bottlenecks).

3. Test Strategy & API Testing

  • API Testing: Solid experience using Postman or Rest Client.
