Chemistry Department Leadership

To provide leadership in the Chemistry Department in compliance with state and federal law, is responsible for all standardized clinical laboratory analysis in order to provide information or materials for use by physicians in the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of disease or the assessment of a medical condition. Performs proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management and other leadership functions including but not limited to financial, all quality functions, staff scheduling and instrumentation alone with new utilization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years lab experience preferably in a hospital
  • MT (ASCP) preferred
