ERP Testing Specialist

Location: Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $100 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP Testing Specialist to play a critical role in the successful delivery of enterprise system initiatives. This position will lead testing activities across complex ERP platforms, ensuring system quality, business readiness, and seamless integration across multiple applications and business functions.

The ideal candidate brings deep SAP testing expertise, strong stakeholder collaboration skills, and a proven ability to manage testing efforts throughout large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion and support a strong culture of safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship.

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and testing documentation based on business and technical requirements.

  • Coordinate test environment readiness and oversee test data preparation activities.

  • Execute and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and end-to-end validation.

  • Manage testing activities and defect resolution processes using tools such as CloudALM, Tricentis, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and related platforms.

  • Track testing progress, identify risks, and ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.

  • Support additional testing disciplines including automation testing, performance testing, stress testing, and negative testing initiatives.

  • Partner closely with SAP functional teams, developers, project stakeholders, and business users to ensure successful test execution.

  • Provide regular reporting on testing status, defect trends, and quality metrics.

  • Perform root cause analysis of issues and recommend process improvements to enhance overall testing effectiveness.

  • Contribute to the development of scalable testing frameworks and best practices for future projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Applied Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in ERP testing, including collaboration with both technical and business teams.

  • Strong understanding of SAP business processes and modules such as FI, MM, SD, and HR.

  • Hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur environments.

  • Demonstrated expertise in test planning, test execution, defect management, and quality assurance methodologies.

  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to design and manage integrated testing strategies across multiple systems and platforms.

  • Understanding of system security considerations and compliance requirements related to ERP implementations.

  • Skilled at building relationships across business functions and coordinating testing efforts with internal and external partners.
