Job Description:ย As a new graduate in theย Manufacturingย Engineering role, you willย assistย inย supporting the production of high-reliability electronic hardware for Tactical Satellite equipment, includingย SMT(Surface Mount Technology) solder assembly, mechanical integration, and environmental testing. Responsibilities include establishing work instructions, developing process procedures, qualifying new tools/equipment, overseeing non-conformance reviews, implementing engineering changes,ย maintainingย labor standards, and process controls. Additionally, the engineer willย assistย senior engineers with new product introductions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projectsย ย ย 

  • Design develops and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systemsย ย 

  • Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processesย ย ย 

  • Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new productsย ย ย 

  • Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product linesย ย ย
