Job description

Barbaricum is currently seeking an experienced Test Coordinator to serve as the test manager for our Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the test and evaluation processes critical to the success of our programs.
 
This role involves coordinating closely with the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) to develop appropriate testing strategies, overseeing Test and Evaluation Working Integrated Product Teams (T&E WIPTs), and ensuring that military tactics, techniques, and procedures used during testing are current and representative. The Test Coordinator III will play a pivotal role in evaluating test data, assessing risks, and presenting test result summaries to leadership, contributing significantly to the decision-making process on program milestones.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Management: Plan and manage test assignments, progress, and evaluate results to ensure the successful execution of testing activities.
  • Test Planning and Coordination: Develop and staff for approval Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), coordinating with ATEC to determine appropriate testing strategies for government programs.
  • Working Groups and Reviews: Oversee or conduct T&E WIPTs and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), ensuring the adequacy of test plans, procedures, and test execution.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Attend testing sessions, report test results and issues as required, and evaluate test data to develop summaries for leadership briefings and decision-making processes.
  • Integration and Issue Resolution: Work with Assistant Product Managers and Product Leads to understand interfaces, resolving integration issues and ensuring the adequacy of system evaluation plans and strategies.
  • Resource Management: Manage scheduling and resourcing for Developmental Testing (DT) and Operational Testing (OT) events, including the development of ammunition requirements and test scheduling.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all government test planning documents are accurately uploaded to the appropriate databases and maintain a Master Test Schedule for test synchronization.

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Experience: More than 15 years of relevant experience in Test and Evaluation, preferably within the Defense Acquisition Systems (non-IT) sector.
  • Certification: Equivalent experience or certification commensurate with DAWIA Level III T&E certification is preferred.
  • Expertise: Subject matter expert in Test and Evaluation, capable of leading test efforts on assigned programs with minimal oversight.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of and previous experience with Defense Acquisition Systems and Military Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate test efforts, providing clear guidance and direction to teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate test data, assess risks, and prepare comprehensive summaries and reports for leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively presenting information to leadership and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
