Job Title: Test Proctor Department: Academics Position Summary: The Test Proctor is responsible for administering and proctoring assessments for middle and high school students across a variety of subjects while maintaining testing integrity, security, and a safe environment. This is a part-time, Monday - Thursday 3pm - 8:30pm position. Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the testing center and enforce time limits and compliance with examination procedures, including arranging student seating.
  • Answer questions regarding examination procedures, test discrepancies, and other routine matters.
  • Assist with the administration of written examinations.
  • Maintain student data tracking tools.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions.
  • Collect, verify, and count examination materials.
  • Report rule violations and unusual occurrences during examinations to the supervisor.
  • Control admission to and exit from the testing center.
  • Move throughout the room during examinations to guard against cheating and the use of unauthorized aids.
  • Create and maintain a safe environment.
  • Ensure the proper use of equipment and appropriate behavior by student-athletes.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff as necessary.
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and employees.
  • Document student behavior to support teachers and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality consistent with IMG Academy and Learning Services standards.
  • Consistently follow department protocols learned during training.
  • Intervene when students are not in control, are not in their assigned location, or are in an unsafe situation.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of business ethics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to commit to a schedule of up to 29 hours per week.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to relate effectively to adolescents and provide content support.
  • Accurate and consistent data-entry skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting.
