Position Summary

Client is looking for a Functional Tester to provide expertise in the planning, constructing, and execution of test scripts. The Functional Tester will supply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.

Essential Job Functions
  • Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
  • Track defects to closure and keeps the defect repository up-to-date.
  • May provide knowledge in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements.
  • Uses available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solution.
  • Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated on project progress.
  • Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects.
  • Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Provides expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Analysis.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or the sciences, or industry-equivalent experience required

  • Must have 5+ years of experience.
