Job description

Atrenne is currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our Test department.
Summary:
Plan and conduct all aspects of product qualification and acceptance related to test design and execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Design and execute tests for electronic products, components, and systems, using methods like automated testing, manual testing, and environmental stress testing.
  2. Develop test plans and procedures for PCBs, wire harnesses, and hybrid systems, including digital test patterns for mixed-signal and RF testing.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software integration issues, identifying root causes and recommending design changes.
  4. Interpret technical documents (schematics, datasheets) and correlate test results with simulations or measurements.
  5. Create and maintain test fixtures and automated test equipment.
  6. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to implement improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  7. Analyze and report test data, providing feedback for iterative design and manufacturing process improvements.
  8. Provide constructive feedback to assembly employees and engineers on issues that impact quality performance and out-of-spec issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year engineering college or university; or 5 - 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, ATE systems, environmental test chambers.
COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office products: Word, PowerPoint and Outlook along with good working knowledge of Excel. Internet and Project Management or other database software knowledge helpful. Experience with engineering PLM systems and ERP also preferred.
LICENSES Driver's license needed as some local travel required, typically within 1.5 hours of the facility.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. A full understanding on Ohm's law and Boolean logic
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Target Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annual salary
