Job Description
PTP is a fast-growing system integrator that offers strategic Customer Experience (CX) solutions to our clients. We are looking for a Test Analyst to help us design and deliver CX solutions that provide our clients with a beautiful customer journey that achieves results. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to champion the customer experience, demonstrate skill in managing multiple functional area interests, and have a demonstrated skill set and passion for testing.
The Test Analyst will have the following accountabilities:
  • Identifying testing efforts required based on design and requirement documents
  • Developing test cases/scripts for functional and regression testing
  • Effectively executing web application test cases to meet project deadlines
  • Working with project tools (Microsoft TFS) for test case management & execution, defect reporting, and training others where needed
  • Identifying areas for test automation as well as developing test automation configurations & scripts
  • Anticipating tasks to meet schedule deadlines and resolving issues to avoid delays
  • Monitoring individual test progress by constantly assessing assigned work against deadlines
  • Presenting testing status to team leads and managers
  • Creating a fun and conducive working environment for maximum throughput

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, IT Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience executing and reporting on web application test efforts
  • Minimum 3 years of experience writing test cases/scripts for web applications
  • Experience with QA strategies and best practices for web application testing
  • Experience writing SQL queries to condition and access test data and to validate results
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
