Carex is partnering with a Biotechindustry partner to identify a Sr. SAP Security Analyst who will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for designing, configuring, supporting, and enhancing SAP security solutions across complex business applications. This individual will lead security-related initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and ensure solutions align with security, audit, compliance, and business requirements. Summary

The Sr. SAP Security Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for designing, configuring, supporting, and improving SAP security solutions across complex business applications. This role will lead security-related initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, partner with business and technical stakeholders, and ensure solutions align with security, audit, compliance, and business requirements. What You'll Do
  • Design, configure, implement, and support SAP security solutions for business-critical processes.
  • Architect and implement SAP security solutions using industry best practices.
  • Configure and support SAP GRC capabilities, including Risk Analysis and Remediation (RAR), Compliant User Provisioning (CUP), Superuser Privilege Management (SPM), and Emergency Access Management (EAM).
  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and update Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and procedures in accordance with audit requirements.
  • Design, configure, and test system changes, workflows, security roles, and related technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Fiori roles and OData services while ensuring compliance with SoD rulesets.
  • Provide security expertise across SaaS solutions, including BTP, IAS/IPS, SAC, Datasphere, and IBP.
  • Troubleshoot application and security issues, provide production support, and communicate status to key stakeholders.
  • Identify issues that impact multiple application teams and lead efforts to resolve complex problems.
  • Partner with audit teams and establish appropriate security and compliance benchmarks.
  • Create and maintain security test scripts, system documentation, processes, and procedures.
  • Lead estimation activities for enhancement and support requests.
  • Review project and issue status with project leadership and delegate configuration or other activities as appropriate.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and delegate for leadership regarding incident and problem resolution.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and software implementation teams to align business requirements with technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business workflows through technology and security enhancements.
  • Participate in training and support activities for end users and technical teams.
  • Mentor peers and take ownership of complex problems, including issues outside normal scope.
  • Lead internal process design and documentation efforts to drive continuous improvement.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional, and matrixed environment.
  • Work nights and/or weekends and travel as needed to support business requirements.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role.
  • Strong SAP security experience, including the ability to architect and design solutions for critical business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP GRC, including RAR, CUP, SPM, and EAM.
  • Experience developing and maintaining SoD policies and procedures in support of audit requirements.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori roles and OData services.
  • Security experience across SaaS solutions such as BTP, IAS/IPS, SAC, Datasphere, and IBP.
  • Experience partnering with audit teams and establishing security and compliance benchmarks.
  • Experience creating and maintaining security test scripts.
  • Understanding of industry best practices and their application to business systems and security solutions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with project leadership, subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and manage priorities in a timely and efficient manner.
