Position Summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Test Technician for a leading electronics manufacturing company in Suwanee, GA. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic assemblies at the component level while supporting quality and production objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies at the component level.

  • Read and interpret analog and digital schematics.

  • Diagnose failures using multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency meters, signal generators, and other test equipment.

  • Perform SMT and through-hole soldering, desoldering, and rework.

  • Identify and verify electronic components including resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits.

  • Program electronic devices, processors, and memory devices as required.

  • Follow work instructions, BOMs, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.

  • Document repair activities and test results.

  • Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies at the component level.

  • Ability to read and interpret analog and digital schematics.

  • Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuit board functionality.

  • Experience using electronic troubleshooting and diagnostic equipment.

  • Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.

  • Ability to perform SMT and through-hole soldering and rework.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Electronics manufacturing experience.

  • Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience.

  • Linux/Unix experience.

  • Experience programming electronic devices or processors.

  • IPC certifications are a plus.

  • Experience working with BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
