A Test Proctor is responsible for overseeing exams to ensure they are conducted fairly and securely. Their duties include verifying the identity of test-takers, explaining exam rules, distributing and collecting test materials, and monitoring the testing environment for any irregularities or cheating. Test Proctors may work in schools, universities, or professional certification centers, and they play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the examination process.

What are the main challenges a test proctor might face during exam administration?

Test Proctors often encounter challenges such as maintaining exam integrity while managing large groups, addressing unexpected technical issues with testing equipment, and handling candidates' questions or concerns professionally without compromising fairness. Balancing attentiveness to potential academic dishonesty with providing a calm test environment is crucial.
