Job description

Leads independent testing, integration validation, regression testing, operational readiness assessment, release certification, and deployment validation activities across the BMx FoS. The Independent Test Lead governs testing activities independent of the development teams producing the associated code changes, ensuring compliance with PWS separation-of-duties requirements.

This role coordinates directly with the DevSecOps Platform Lead, Cybersecurity Lead, System Architect, Product Owners, Enterprise Integration personnel, and Functional SMEs to validate modernization activities, release candidates, interface synchronization behavior, rollback readiness, and operational workflow stability prior to deployment authorization. The Independent Test Lead also supports release stabilization monitoring, production validation activities, and operational readiness reviews.

Within BMx, this role is particularly important because modernization and sustainment activities may directly affect maintenance scheduling, PMEL operations, readiness reporting, operational dashboards, and mission‑critical workflows.
