Security Center est le produit phare de Genetec et l'un des logiciels leaders sur le marche de la securite physique. Notre equipe developpe et maintient une vaste gamme de plugins de controle d'acces pour Security Center, incluant des integrations avec des systemes tiers, des solutions de gestion d'ascenseurs, de gestion des actifs, des casiers a cles, et bien plus encore. Ces plugins permettent d'etendre les capacites de la plateforme et d'unifier differents systemes de securite physique sous une seule et meme solution.

Nous sommes a la recherche d'un(e) specialiste en tests logiciels pour se joindre a l'equipe Controle d'acces. Vous jouerez un role cle dans l'assurance de la qualite et de la fiabilite de nos plugins, en realisant des tests manuels et automatises. Nous cherchons une personne passionnee par la qualite, attentive aux details, et motivee a evoluer dans un environnement ou l'innovation et la collaboration sont au cur de nos activites.

Votre journee en un coup d'oeil :

  • Assurer la qualite du logiciel en participant aux phases de conception et de developpement, notamment par la creation et l'execution de tests manuels et automatises
  • Reviser les criteres d'acceptation des fonctionnalites avec les developpeurs et rediger des plans de test afin de les valider
  • Effectuer differents types de tests : fonctionnels, d'integration, systeme, de regression et de bout en bout
  • Valider l'interoperabilite entre les plugins de controle d'acces et la plateforme Security Center (integrations de systemes tiers, gestion d'ascenseurs, gestion des actifs, casiers a cles)
  • Analyser, documenter et assurer le suivi des anomalies detectees
  • Developper et maintenir des scripts de tests automatises afin d'ameliorer la couverture de regression
  • Proposer et mettre en place de nouveaux outils et pratiques pour ameliorer l'efficacite de l'assurance qualite
  • Collaborer avec les developpeurs et apporter une perspective axee sur l'utilisabilite et la testabilite

  • Experience demontree en tests logiciels manuels et/ou automatises
  • Grand souci du detail et engagement envers la qualite
  • Excellentes capacites d'analyse et de resolution de problemes
  • Tres bonnes aptitudes en communication ecrite et verbale pour decrire clairement les comportements observes
  • Capacite d'apprentissage rapide et sens des responsabilites
  • Esprit d'equipe et fortes habiletes de collaboration
  • Maitrise du francais et de l'anglais, tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit (ce poste necessite des interactions avec nos collaborateurs et clients internationaux)

Votre expertise technique :

  • Connaissance de la programmation orientee objet et de langages de script (C#, PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience avec un ou plusieurs outils et frameworks d'automatisation de tests
  • Connaissance des bases de donnees et du SQL

Un atout si vous avez :

  • Connaissance de l'ecosysteme .NET
  • Experience avec des applications de bureau WPF
  • Connaissance de Visual Studio, Test Manager et Azure DevOps

Security Center is Genetec's flagship product and one of the leading software products in the physical security market. Our team develops and maintains a wide range of access control plugins for Security Center, including integrations with third-party access control systems, elevator dispatch plugins, asset management plugins, key cabinet integrations, and more. These plugins extend Security Center's capabilities and allow customers to unify diverse physical security systems under a single platform.

We're looking for a software test specialist to join the Access Control team. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our access control plugins through both manual and automated testing. You should be passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to an environment where innovation and teamwork are at the core of everything we do.

Your day at a glance:

  • Ensure software quality by participating in the design and development phases through the creation and execution of both manual and automated tests
  • Review feature acceptance criteria with developers and write test plans to validate them
  • Perform various types of tests: functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end
  • Validate the interoperability between access control plugins and the Security Center platform, including third-party system integrations, elevator dispatch, asset management, and key cabinet solutions
  • Analyze, document, and follow up on defects identified during testing
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve regression coverage
  • Propose and implement new tools and practices to improve quality assurance efficiency
  • Collaborate with the developers and provide input from a usability and testability standpoint
