Votre journée en un coup d'oeil :

  • Assurer la qualité du logiciel en participant aux phases de conception et de développement, notamment par la création et l’exécution de tests manuels et automatisés
  • Réviser les critères d’acceptation des fonctionnalités avec les développeurs et rédiger des plans de test afin de les valider
  • Effectuer différents types de tests : fonctionnels, d’intégration, système, de régression et de bout en bout
  • Valider l’interopérabilité entre les plugins de contrôle d’accès et la plateforme Security Center (intégrations de systèmes tiers, gestion d’ascenseurs, gestion des actifs, casiers à clés)
  • Analyser, documenter et assurer le suivi des anomalies détectées
  • Développer et maintenir des scripts de tests automatisés afin d’améliorer la couverture de régression
  • Proposer et mettre en place de nouveaux outils et pratiques pour améliorer l’efficacité de l’assurance qualité
  • Collaborer avec les développeurs et apporter une perspective axée sur l’utilisabilité et la testabilité

  • Expérience démontrée en tests logiciels manuels et/ou automatisés
  • Grand souci du détail et engagement envers la qualité
  • Excellentes capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes

  • Capacité d’apprentissage rapide et sens des responsabilités

  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit (ce poste nécessite des interactions avec nos collaborateurs et clients internationaux)

Votre expertise technique :

  • Connaissance de la programmation orientée objet et de langages de script (C#, PowerShell, Python)
  • Expérience avec un ou plusieurs outils et frameworks d’automatisation de tests
  • Connaissance des bases de données et du SQL

  • Connaissance de l’écosystème .NET

Security Center is Genetec's flagship product and one of the leading software products in the physical security market. Our team develops and maintains a wide range of access control plugins for Security Center, including integrations with third-party access control systems, elevator dispatch plugins, asset management plugins, key cabinet integrations, and more. These plugins extend Security Center's capabilities and allow customers to unify diverse physical security systems under a single platform. 

We're looking for a software test specialist to join the Access Control team. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our access control plugins through both manual and automated testing. You should be passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to an environment where innovation and teamwork are at the core of everything we do. 

Your day at a glance:

  • Ensure software quality by participating in the design and development phases through the creation and execution of both manual and automated tests 
  • Review feature acceptance criteria with developers and write test plans to validate them 
  • Perform various types of tests: functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end 
  • Validate the interoperability between access control plugins and the Security Center platform, including third-party system integrations, elevator dispatch, asset management, and key cabinet solutions 
  • Analyze, document, and follow up on defects identified during testing 
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve regression coverage 
  • Propose and implement new tools and practices to improve quality assurance efficiency 
  • Collaborate with the developers and provide input from a usability and testability standpoint
