This position will be responsible for all day-to-day operations in the lab. This position reports directly to the QA Manager,
Nitta Gelatin is a global manufacturer of gelatin and collagen peptides with over 100 years of history. Our company focuses on harnessing natural collagen to produce a variety of products for use in numerous food, nutritional and pharmaceutical applications.   • SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Detail orientation.
  • Daily use of computer skills (database entry, word processing, spreadsheets).

  • Launder and maintain lab related items in onsite washing area.
  • Must follow food safety regulations.
  • Responsible for adhering to and upholding the company's food safety and quality policies. This includes understanding the relevant procedures, ensuring compliance in daily operations, and actively contributing to a culture of food safety and quality. Employee must report any concerns or deviations from these policies to their supervisor immediately.

  • EDUCATION REQUIRED

High school diploma or GED.
  • TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED

6 months experience in quality or laboratory operations preferred
6 months experience in food industry GMP knowledge preferred
Intermediate Computer skills in Word, Excel, and ability to learn to use databases as required by the position.
