Job Summary

Were seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Desk / Sales Manager and or Finance/Business manager to join our team in Gilmer, Texas. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and enjoys leading a sales team to success. Youll be responsible for desking deals, securing financing options, coaching salespeople, and ensuring profitable, customer-focused transactions in both new and pre-owned departments.

Consistently achieves a Success Index (product penetrations) of 300 or better and a PRU after chargebacks of $1,450.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of automotive sales or management experience.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.

Strong knowledge of deal structure, desking, and lender guidelines.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

Ability to take quality TOs and support salespeople effectively.

Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude.

Solid understanding of dealership operations and sales principles.

Essential Duties

  • Desk and structure deals to maximize front-end and back-end gross profit.

    Submit deals to lenders and ensure accurate, timely funding.

    Take TOs (turnovers) promptly to assist the sales team in closing deals.

    Negotiate sales terms while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

    Help manage and price inventory with store leadership.

    Train, motivate, and support the sales team for consistent performance.

    Maintain a professional image and strong follow-up discipline.

    Maintain strong Finance Source Relationships

    Successfully obtains lender approvals through appropriate deal structure and strong negotiation skills

    100% presentation of products utilizing Stanley Menu

    • Successfully sells a full line of backend products achieving penetration and per copy targets
    • Minimizes chargebacks by ensuring customers understand product values and charging appropriate mark-up.
    • Customer signature of menu items purchased and declined is required in all deal jackets

Product Presentation/Disclosure

  • 100% Turnover to F&I
  • 100% Customer Interview / 100% Product Presentation
  • Menu or Disclosure with Customer Acceptance/Rejection of Product(s)
