Job description

Job Summary:
Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services. They are seeking a Senior Cyber Test Engineer to verify product quality and engage with stakeholders to derive system requirements while developing test plans and frameworks.
Responsibilities:
• You will be accountable for verifying the consistency and quality of our products and be actively involved throughout the entire development process.
• You will engage with internal and customer stakeholders to derive system requirements and react to mission needs.
• You will develop a deep understanding of the tools, systems, and frameworks used by the customer, and how to effectively integrate them with various technologies to build a real-world test environment and create a test plan.
• You will utilize your technical skills to build and maintain custom test frameworks and generate thorough documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• TS/SCI Clearance is required
• 5 years test engineering or related experience
• 3 year of experience developing in Python, Bash, or similar scripting language
• 3 year of experience working on Linux/Unix systems
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, VPN)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interface with customers, end-users, technical leads, and program management
• Requires a degree in a technical discipline
Preferred:
• Experience building test automation frameworks
• Experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans, procedures, reports, and other technical documentation
• Familiarity with Agile mindset and methodologies
• Ability to think abstractly and drive toward defined requirements and testing strategies
• Experience using virtualization technologies such as Docker
